Stone plastic flooring and rubber flooring are both resilient flooring, but they are different:
The composition and production process are different: the rubber floor is divided into homogeneous and heterogeneous. Homogeneous rubber floor refers to a floor made of vulcanized single-layer or multi-layer structure with the same color and composition based on natural rubber or synthetic rubber; heterogeneous rubber floor refers to a floor based on natural rubber or synthetic rubber with a structure The upper includes a wear-resistant layer and other compacted layers with different composition and (or) designs, and the compacted layer contains a skeleton layer.
There are differences in design and color: rubber flooring is more difficult to color, because rubber has strong color absorption, so most of the rubber flooring has a single color; and the stone plastic floor has a lot of colors and can be combined at will, which can give designers more select.
There are differences in the ease of installation: the stone plastic floor is light in texture and easy to install; the rubber floor is heavy and the installation is more laborious. Moreover, the installation method of the rubber floor is more stringent. If the method is not correct, bubbles will appear, and the requirements for the self-leveling foundation are more perfect, otherwise the defects of the base layer will be exaggerated.
There are differences in market demand and abrasion resistance: rubber flooring is only used in some high-end places due to its high price, and its scope is relatively small; while stone plastic flooring is widely used due to its super high cost performance and has great market potential. In addition, the rubber floor has stronger abrasion resistance, which is very suitable for places with heavy traffic such as airports and stations, as well as airplanes, trains, subways, cars, ships and other vehicles.
