Correct use and maintenance are very important to maintain the beauty and durability of bamboo flooring. With the development of the bamboo processing industry, more and more users use bamboo composite flooring, and consumers are more and more recognized by this product. However, because some users do not know much about the maintenance of bamboo composite flooring, complaints also occur from time to time when problems occur during use. In this case, both manufacturers need to do a good job in after-sales service, but also need consumers to understand the use of knowledge, in order to safeguard the interests of both parties. Pay attention to the following points in daily use of bamboo composite flooring:
(1) Maintain a ventilated and dry indoor environment
Regularly maintain indoor ventilation, which can not only make the chemical substances in the floor volatilize as much as possible, and discharge them to the outside, but also exchange the humid air in the room with the outdoors. Especially when there is no one to live and maintain for a long time, indoor ventilation is more important. Commonly used methods are: often open windows or doors to allow air to circulate, or use air conditioning systems and ventilation systems to create a dry and clean indoor environment.
(2) Avoid sun exposure and rain
In some houses, sunlight or rain can directly enter the local area of the room through the windows, which will cause harm to the bamboo composite floor. Sunlight will accelerate the aging of the paint and glue, and cause the floor to shrink and crack. After being drenched with rainwater, the bamboo material absorbs water and causes expansion and deformation. In severe cases, the floor will become moldy. Therefore, special attention should be paid in daily use.
(3) Avoid damaging the floor surface
The lacquer surface of the bamboo composite floor is not only the decorative layer of the floor, but also the protective layer of the floor. Therefore, the impact of hard objects, the scratches of sharp objects, the friction of metals, etc. should be avoided. Chemicals cannot be stored indoors. In addition, indoor furniture should be handled carefully when moving, and the feet of the furniture should be cushioned with rubber leather. In public places, carpets should be laid on the main passages.
(4) Correct cleaning and care
During daily use, the floor should be cleaned regularly to keep the floor clean and hygienic. When cleaning, you can use a clean broom to sweep away the dust and debris, and then manually wipe it with a cloth wrung out of water. If the area is too large, you can wash the cloth mop, and then hang it to drip dry. Mop the ground. Do not wash with water, nor clean it with a wet cloth or mop. If any water-containing material is spilled on the ground, it should be wiped dry with a dry cloth immediately. If conditions permit, you can also apply a layer of floor wax at intervals to strengthen the protection of the floor. If the paint surface is damaged, you can patch it with ordinary varnish yourself or ask the manufacturer to repair it.
