Arctic Grey Timber Flooring

Arctic Grey Timber Flooring

Arctic Grey combines the soft qualities of light grey with the timeless texture of European Oak. This cooler tone complements the soft lime layer to create a beautiful faded neutral tone that pays homage to Scandinavian design in a subtle way. The natural tones and color variations of the wood are preserved through the finish, which allows the board's personality to fully emerge and adapt to all styles of contemporary interiors.

                                                                                                                 Arctic Grey Timber Flooring

Arctic Grey demonstrates a synergy of modern and rustic integration. Rather than being cut or milled lengthwise like standard hardwood, each plank is made up of cross-cut wood, also known as cross-grain wood, a style that stands out in several ways at once. The end grain is particularly resistant to wear and tear and offers a very personal touch, coated with a natural oil protector to give the floor a traditional feel, allowing the senses to experience nature on a floor that requires less maintenance and also comes with a lifetime structural guarantee.

Product Structure of  Engineered flooring

1. THE SILK MATT UV FINISH

Surface treatments are widely available and vary depending on the high-quality wood species and desired look. Meanwhile, the Silk Matt UV finish is with a ultra matt gloss within 5%, which touches like a natural oiled finish while keeps the wear resistant and anti scratch feature of UV lacquer.

2. REAL SOILD WOOD WEAR LAYER

Natural floors are thought to last longer and be of higher quality because they can be sanded and refinished and have a thicker wear layer. Regardless of wear layer thickness, the majority of engineered wood floors can be recoated, and if properly maintained and cared for, all engineered floors can last a long time, making them a worthwhile investment.

3. SUPPORTIVE CENTRAL CORE

An engineered wood floor's core is made of a softwood, high density fiberboard, or plywood composite, making it more adaptable and producing a more stable floor, particularly in environments with fluctuating moisture levels. There is also a special design of tongue equipment installation system which is easier for customers to install and enhances the stability of the structure.

Common problem

How long does timber flooring last?

30 to 100 years

Solid hardwood flooring lasts 30 to 100 years (or more). Engineered hardwood flooring can last at least 20 to 30 years. Both products' lifespans depend on the type of wood, the quality of the product, how it was installed, where it is located, and whether it receives regular maintenance.

Is timber flooring durable?

Solid timber floors are extremely durable as they are coated with hard-wearing finishes such as polyurethane, that can resist most wear and tear from busy areas.

Are gray wood floors still popular?

Does this mean that your gray floors are "out of style" now? Not to worry. Gray flooring will always have its place in modern homes and buildings, and shouldn't be thrown out just yet. That being said, if you are in the market for new flooring, you may want to consider a few things before making your color selection.

Why do people like grey floors?

In the past few years, gray flooring has become a default option among many developers. Designers and architects think the vast grayness is a result of the past decade's dominating minimalist aesthetic, as well as developers viewing it as a safe and inoffensive option.

Is gray flooring better yes or no?

Yes, grey wood flooring is known for creating a light and inviting atmosphere. It can reflect both natural and artificial light, making spaces appear brighter and more open, which is particularly beneficial in smaller or dimly lit areas.
